1. ANSWER YOUR PHONE
When someone needs to contact you, 0800 Reverse will call your number to present the reverse charge call. The person calling isn't calling you directly, so you won't see their number on your caller ID (the incoming 0800 Reverse call will appear as 0845 685 3000).
2. LISTEN TO THE AUTOMATED PRESENTATION AND THE NAME OF THE PERSON CALLING
After you answer the phone, you'll hear an automated female voice recording which will play:
“Hello. This is 0800 Reverse. You have a reverse charge call on the line from <you'll hear the caller's name so you know who needs to speak to you<.
3. DECIDE IF YOU WANT TO ACCEPT THE CALL AND TALK TO THE PERSON CALLING
After hearing the callers name, we'll automatically play the cost to accept the call. You'll then be asked whether you'd like to accept the call and be connected.
To accept the call press 9
After you've finished talking, just hang-up to end the call. If you don't respond, you'll be asked again if you want to accept the call.
REMEMBER:
You'll always hear the call charges before you choose to accept. If you don't wish to speak to the caller, hang up or press 7 on your keypad to deny the charges.
After you've accepted an 0800 Reverse call and been connected, you'll be charged for the call. If accepting on a mobile, you'll be sent one or more Premium SMS's to charge for the call. If accepting on a fixed line, the charge will appear on your next telephone bill.
